Our Facilities

New River Campstore: Our campstore is well stocked for all of your needs. With supplies for picnicing, canoeing, camping and fishing we have got you covered. If you like to travel with your lap top the Campstore features wireless internet access. You will also find an assortment of souvenirs, so don't forget to pick up your New River Campground t-shirt or ball cap. There is a pool table as well as an assortment of video games and pinball machines. The store features a large covered front porch with picnic tables for grabbing that quick snack.

Picnicing: Our large picnic pavillion is the perfect spot for large groups. Whether club meetings, church organizations, family reunions, business picnics, or anything else, our large pavillion can accomodate you in a beautiful and relaxing environment. The picnic pavillion features a large built in grill, picnic tables and a stage with lights. Just contact us for a quote on taking care of your group for a day of fun on and in the New River.

Our Picnic Pavillion is available seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. for group functions. Due to limitations in parking we have to ask that you drop off your supplies at the pavillion and then park at the greenery.

Our smaller picnic shelters are the perfect spot for a family picnic beside the river.

 
Playground: Our family playground is equipped for hours of fun for the kids. Includes swings, merry-go-round and a half court basketball court. We also have an assortment of games suitable for the entire family available. Basket balls and volley balls may be used for free, but require a $2.00 deposit to ensure the safe return of equipment. Horseshoes and croquet sets are available to rent for only $5.00. A $5.00 deposit is required to ensure the safe return of equipment. You can find these games in the New River Campstore, as well as a selection of games suitable for children for sell.

Bathhouses: New River Campground Canoeing and Kayaking has two bathhouses to accommodate you, each with toilets and hot showers and separate facilities for both men and women.
